COVID 19 SAFETY PLAN
About Our COVID 19 Plan
Siiqaa Water Taxi is most concerned with passenger safety and the safety of the boat operator. The purpose of our safety plan is to prevent exposure to COVID 19.
When booking water taxi passengers must inform Siiqaa Water Taxi if they have symptoms of COVID 19 such as fever, cough, sneezing, sore throat or difficulty breathing. We may refuse passengers if we determine the risk of exposure to COVID 19 for other passengers or the operator is high.
We will take extra precautions if a passenger is sick and on medical travel. (No more than 3 passengers, masks must be worn in addition to regular precautions)
We recommend all passengers have a face-covering over their mouth and nose. Where physical distancing from other passengers outside your group is not possible passengers are encouraged to wear a covering over their nose and mouth. Masks will be provided if necessary.
Hand Sanitizer is available for all passengers. Passengers are encouraged to use hand sanitizer when boarding.
Physical distancing is important and encouraged when possible.
The boat operator must stay home if he is not feeling well.
The boat operator will wash his hands or use hand sanitizer before and after each trip.
The boat will be cleaned after each trip. All interior and exterior door handles and high touch surfaces will be sanitized immediately after passengers leave the boat.
Windows will be open as much as possible to allow for air circulation.
The number of passengers will be limited when necessary. Family groups may sit together.
All surfaces including the steering wheel, gear shifter, dashboard and electronic devices will be sanitized at the end of each day.
